Thailand Catamaran

With two hulls instead of one, catamarans offer a unique twist on the traditional cruise experience. Our 82-footers handle like yachts (as you’ll find out should you opt to take over for the skipper for a spell), and with just 16 passengers spread across ample lounging-about space, they offer a comfortable and intimate way to travel. Our 82 foot sailing catamaran is equipped with two deluxe cabins on the main deck, offering panoramic views, and seven standard double/twin cabins below deck. There is an onboard kitchenette, interior and exterior common areas for dining and relaxing, and plenty of outside deck space, including mats which can be used for sleeping under the stars. 2 deluxe double (upper deck) and 7 standard double/twin (lower). All cabins have their own portholes. This sailing adventure is staffed by a qualified skipper, a local cook/first mate and a G Adventures CEO. Your onboard team know the Thai Islands extremely well and are passionate about sharing their hidden secrets with their "crew”. Our Cook is also very welcoming and more than happy to give informal Thai cooking classes while your delicious meals are being prepared in the ship's galley.

Thomas Hardy

After years of painstaking research to create the most perfect vessels afloat, a new era in river cruising dawns as we introduce our brand new, state of the art, ‘all suite’ ships. Swiss operated and truly world-class,we are absolutely delighted to present the five-star MS Thomas Hardy It is extremely difficult to convey just how extraordinary this outstanding ship really is and exactly what distinguishes it from similar vessels. It would be very easy to just say ‘luxurious’ but it’s much more than that; we have deliberately avoided the current trend for a minimalist style where you could be anywhere in the world, creating instead a unique yet exquisite blend of understated taste, style and elegance at the highest level. Immediately striking is just how exceptionally spacious this new vessel is as you enter a gleaming, richly coloured marble-floored lobby flooded with natural light from a stunning atrium above. Moving inside, exceptional creativity from Europe’s finest design studio has produced a superbly balanced masterpiece of onboard style, utilising sustainable rich hardwoods, gleaming brass and polished copper, sparkling glass and intricate wrought iron. The ship is beautifully illuminated throughout – including the exterior and imaginatively furnished with harmonious colour schemes, all designed to create the serene atmosphere reflective of the golden age of cruising which time after time you tell us you adore. The restaurant rivals the finest on shore establishments taking fine dining to another level complemented by delicate European porcelain, gleaming glassware and the intuitive service in which the Swiss excel. This superb vessel carries 44 in-house trained crew members serving just 169 guests (similar size vessels may carry well over 190 passengers) giving the ratio which our experience proves is concurrent with our first class service levels. Furthermore your suite will easily exceed your expectations for not only will you enjoy the most discerning décor, so too the ship’s dimensions afford the ultimate in space and comfort - a minimum 17 square metres (183 square feet), with upgrades available to ‘Superior’ and ‘Deluxe’ accommodation. As you are welcomed aboard the five-star pedigree is striking, with a remarkable feeling of spaciousness and harmonious design at every glance. The three fully air-conditioned accommodation decks including notably the lower deck – are all accessed by an attractive glass lift for your convenience or the wide elegant wrought-iron staircase. Above these is the magnificent Sun Deck - uniquely and illustrating yet again our considered depth of design, a second staircase amidships affords convenient Sun Deck access. Head on up to this truly spectacular deck and what could be better than watching life ashore slip by from the comfort of a sun lounger, perhaps under shade if the weather gets too hot! There’s always the refreshing splash pool too or why not try your hand on the putting green. Then take a refreshingly long drink and that book you’ve been meaning to read for ages on to the lovely terrace area at the fore of the ship, located right in front of the wheelhouse where you can view the Captain and his team skilfully navigating the twisting river and enjoy truly ‘driving seat’ views. Take a deep breath and relax into the pace of river cruise life – now you’re really on holiday! The Diamond Deck is where you will find the very heart of the ship - the superb panoramic observation lounge and bar; a lounge in every sense of the word, complete with plenty of comfortable leather armchairs and sumptuous sofas where you can sink into warmly colourful cushions in beautiful quality fabrics with a freshly made cup of tea. A thick wool carpet feels lovely underfoot and the tasteful contemporary lighting above creates a welcoming and refined ambience, further complemented by the discreet and intuitive service resplendent of the finest five-star hotels. So just sit back with your favourite cocktail and take in the truly mesmerising view. After a superb dinner in the restaurant perhaps it’s time for a digestif accompanied by the soothing tones of the ship’s pianist or unwind with a book from the smartly wood panelled library. To the aft is the peaceful Bistro with its open kitchen and terrace – another perfect spot to appreciate the ever-changing scenery gliding by whilst chatting with new found friends. Here in the evenings the chef presents his personal signature dishes to a small number of diners with menus varying according to the seasons; this intimate dining experience can be reserved on board at no extra charge. When the weather allows the panoramic windows may be fully opened on to the terrace to allow a delightful al fresco dining experience. The ship’s restaurant is located on the Ruby (middle) Deck and here you will experience not only exceptional first class cuisine, but also the most attentive yet discreet service from the ship’s highly professional crew. So just sit back with a well-deserved glass of wine from the carefully selected wine list and delight in the wonderful elegance of your surroundings; beautifully laid tables of just 4 or 6 guests, crisp linen, deep wool carpets and warm wood panelling abound to offer a delectable dining experience of the highest order. On the Emerald (lower) Deck is the fitness centre, perfect for working off all those delicious meals or for something less strenuous treat yourself to a relaxing massage. So you will always look your best there is a hairdresser’s too which also offers manicure and pedicure treatments. Simply put, these world-class ships, elegant and refined in the truest sense, take the idea of river cruising to another level – it really doesn’t get better than this!

Thurgau Exotic II

Exclusiveness is written in capital letters on the MS THURGAU EXOTIC II. It offers space for 28 guests on board and these are accommodated in luxury. Both front suites on the upper deck e.g., are each approx. 24 n² and are divided into a spacious living and sleeping area. A private balcony offers a high level of privacy. The two-bed suits have a similar spacious area and also have direct access to the deck promenade, just like the single cabins. At the meeting point on the covered sun deck, there is a small bar.

Tonle Pandaw

*** NOTE: Tonle Pandaw is also on charter to Viking River Cruises. Please check Viking River Cruises for further sailing dates and availability *** Pandaw's boutique ships were built new and designed and finished as replicas of colonial river steamers, replete in teak and brass, potted palms, open decks, and quality cotton sheets on your bed. These replica ships, while reminiscent of the past, incorporate modern navigation and safety equipment, as well as modern bathrooms and air-con in each cabin. These small ships have the highest passenger - space ratio of any ship afloat. Dining is single sitting with buffet breakfast and lunches, and informal dinners with waiter service . Smart casual dress is expected in the dining room. With the highest staff guest ratio of any ship in the world there is an incredible level of care. It is more like being on a 1920's private yacht party than a cruise ship. The much loved Pandaw staterooms are roomy at 15 square meters. Finished in traditional marine brass and teak, all cabins have the necessary modcons, and those on the Main and Upper decks open onto promenade decks with their own rattan seating. Sailing on a Pandaw is essentially an outdoor experience. Whilst the staterooms are very comfortable and roomy, passengers prefer to spend their time sitting outside, on the promenade decks or on the vast observation deck above. Unlike other cruise ships every window (except port holes on lower deck) can open. The Pandaw's have an ultra shallow draft enabling them to moor where larger ships could not stop. Inland water navigation in these regions is challenging and the Pandaw's have been specially designed to cope with constantly changing river conditions. With modern navigation aids and very experienced crew, a Pandaw boat is one of the safest on our rivers.

Toum Tiou

The only true cruising vessel that can sail from Siem Reap to Saigon in safety and comfort. Toum Tiou’s steel hull and sleek low draft make it the only true vessel that sails the Mekong. Toum Tiou and its sister vessel, Tom Tiou II, are the only ships which can sail from the Siem Reap pier to Saigon’s harbor. With other vessels, passengers have to disembark mid-river and continue on land. Here’s another plus: Tom Tiou’s low draft allows it access to the remotest of villages and to gently hug the river line, affording passengers priceless views of people, flora and fauna – hardly touched by modernity. Toum Tiou was custom built for passenger privacy, intimacy, comfort and safety. Toum Tiou has 10 cosy double cabins; each with a private lounge area, air conditioning, hi-fi system, and en suite bathroom with hot / cold private shower.

Toum Tiou 2

Built with a traditional look, the Toum Tiou II adds a new dimension to exploring the natural and man-made wonders of this part of the world. Named for the “Cambodian Romeo and Juliet,” the boat features elegant colonial décor, spacious public areas, and a stunning sun deck. Boat Layout: Large-screen TV in lounge, library, public areas with wi-fi access, outdoor dining and lounge areas Cabins: 6 upper deck cabins, 8 lower deck cabins, all with en suite bathrooms

Toum Tiou II

Discover Indochina along the Mekong river. The Toum Tiou II, like its sister vessel Tom Tiou, differs from other Mekong river boats as it is able to offer a true cruising experience between Siem Reap and Saigon. Not only can passengers sail the entire journey on the river but they also sail in close proximity to the riverline; allowing them an unobstructed view of the delightfully rustic existence of the people in the vicinity. The other vessels are huge and not custom built for intimate navigation. The Toum Tiou II offers an unmatched cruising experience of the Mekong with spectacular views of the Mekong’s fauna and flora and diverse day-to-day life of the people and cultures of Cambodia and Vietnam Larger than its sister vessel, Toum Tiou II offers even greater comfort with additional in-cabin facilities including a private lounge area, air conditioning, hi-fi system, and on-suite bathroom with hot / cold private shower and complimentary tea and coffee. The 14 cozy cabins are fitted to the highest specifications with noble wood finishes in an elegant colonial style.

Tucano

On the M/Y Tucano we have a passion for exploration and we hunt deep into the small tributaries that weave their way into the wilderness. Our small-ship is in many ways specifically designed for this kind of deep forest exploration. The M/Y Tucano with a shallow draft, a fleet of exploration craft, and comfortable accommodations, is the ideal way to go farther and deeper into the Amazon. Our mariners are also pilots because some of the remote tributaries that we explore are literally uncharted waters. We almost never see any other people or other boats. This is what has preserved the natural environment and what makes our cruises spectacular experiences that few people ever will be able share... in their entire lives. On the M/Y Tucano we Go farther, go deeper, and go for it! The Tucano experience is comfortable, intimate, efficient, and fun. Everything about the vessel from design to operations is about our expeditionary mission. The vessel is not a luxury vessel but a the luxury cocoon is not the best way to experience the Amazon. It is important to be comfortable, but it is crucial on a cruise to venture outside of aquarium bubble that defines luxury cruising. Travelers can only truly experience the Amazon if they dive in and embrace to the fullest the exotic sights and sounds of this the greatest wilderness on earth. The M/Y Tucano is specifically designed to do just that. A Spacious Design: Even though we keep our group size small in number, the M/Y Tucano is a substantial vessel. The public spaces have plenty of plenty of space to spread out, study the forest nearby, and contemplate the wonders of nature. A Generous Salon: The salon of the M/Y Tucano is positioned at the forward part of the vessel and is surrounded by a windows and a broad balcony. Thoroughly paneled in the elegant style of the classical era, this room serves as our dining room and lounge. It is a good place to observe the forest, read, or relax. From this air-conditioned space, filled with windows and situated at the front of the boat, you can see the fantastic forest around us. Large Observation Deck: The top deck is open and has a large sun canopy -- a wonderful place to spot wildlife or soak in the vastness of the Amazon. There is also space to catch some sun and watch the Macaw parrots screeching across the afternoon sky. Forward Mid-Deck Balcony: The middle deck has a wide balcony around the entire front of the vessel. This is a good spot to enjoy watching the vessel meander along thickly forested riverbanks and to observe pink dolphins leaping out of the water or monkeys bounding from one branch to another. Windows to See the Forest: There are 76 large windows on the M/Y Tucano and most of them open and close. There are screens so that travelers can enjoy the blossoms of the rainforest. There is no need to worry about mosquitos, there are very few very few of them where our voyages navigate: the least inhabited major river in the Amazon, the Rio Negro. Yacht Design and Style: The M/Y Tucano is a very well appointed yacht. The spaces and furnishings were designed in the style of the luxury steamers of the 19th Century, but with the modern comforts of an elegant hotel. The staterooms and the salon are decorated with raised wood panels and accented with brass hardware. Artworks illustrating nature, adventure, and geography complete our ambience of elegance, exploration, and enthusiasm for the rainforest!
