One Ocean Expeditions celebrates the sea and the complex ecosystems it supports by giving its Antarctic cruise clients a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We want to change how you think about the world’s ocean as well as yourselves.
Though ours is a new company, we bring an incredible range of experiences and skills to the Antarctic wilderness. Over the years, our team has amassed a broad scope of expertise in the Antarctic ecosystem. We have in-depth knowledge of the full range of Antarctica wildlife and plants in Antarctica, enabling us to offer a truly nature-based approach to tourism in Antarctica. We are arguably the most experienced Antarctic expedition team afloat these days. We’re also aiming to be the most attentive to our guests’ needs.

During select breakfasts during your voyage, join us in the dining room for an omelette bar. With buffet breakfasts, buffet and/or plated lunches and plated dinners, the dining room can seat all passengers in one sitting. Attractively lit and comfortably furnished, it is served by our ship's stewards and hosted by our Adventure Concierges. Our culinary team includes three chefs as well as up to three culinary students on each journey.
To keep up to date with the view from the bridge, live streaming video can be viewed on a television screen in the dining room during meals. A small lounge can be found in the forward part of the dining room along with a small bar used during meal service.
Shipboard clothing is informal and casual.
Tipping Guidelines
Tipping is a very personal matter, we recommend $US10 per passenger per day that you are on the ship. It is better for the crew if we can give them US dollars cash.
Can children travel on small ships?
Yes. Although the voyages are not directed towards children, we do encourage families with children on our voyages. Please contact us for more information if you are thinking of traveling with anyone under the age of 16.
